Mr. Jacks was born November 12, 1926, in Marshall, Texas, to D.A. Jacks Sr. and Leta Mae Moses Jacks. He proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Corps for a short time near the end of World War II. He married the love of his life, Billie Jo Walker, on December 28, 1952.
Mr. Jacks was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Peggy Joyce Jacks.
