Abraham J. Bookman, 62, owner of a general merchandise store at Ingomar since 1910, died at 9:30 a.m. Sunday in his store of a lung hemorrhage. He had gone to the store
to fill a rancher's order shortly before he was stricken.

Mr. Bookman was born Sept., 15, 1878, in Russia, and when a small child moved with his parents to Dublin, Ireland. He was married there March 10, 1904 to Anna J. Sigman.

They came to the United States in 1907 and settled at Dickinson, N.D., and in 1908 moved to Hettinger, N.D. Mr. and Mrs. Bookman moved to Melstone in 1909 and remained
there a year before opening a store in Ingomar.

Mr. Bookman was a member of the Forsyth Masonic lodge, and of Billings Lodge No. 815, B'nai B'rith. Surviving, in addition to the widow, is a sister, Mrs. Rachel Chetkin of
Los Angeles.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday at Settergren's Chapel. Burial will be in Beth Aaron Cemetery.
