Arch Rosco TAYLOR:
Arch Ross TAYLOR, 86, well-known Labette county farmer, died at 6:45 o'clock last night at his home in Circle Park. he suffered a stroke Thursday and had been in a critical condition since.
He was born Feb. 14, 1862, in Mooresville, Ind., and moved to Mercer county, Mo., in 1866 with his parents. TAYLOR lived there until moving in 1911 to a farm northeast of Parsons. He lived there until his retirement in 1946.
He was married Jan. 18, 1885, to Lillie E. FOGLEMAN of Mercer county, Mo. He was a member of the Parsons First Methodist church.
Surviving are Mrs. TAYLOR, two sons, Ray of Parsons and Hugh of Huntington Park, Cal.; four daughters, Mrs. Mary COOPER of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Eliza BATESMAN of Keenewich, Wash., Mrs. Belva DICKERSON of Parsons and Mrs. Viola SMITH of Kansas City; 28 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Ruthie DOMER, Rockville, Mo., a daughter, died at her home yesterday soon after a heart attack, and one other daughter and a son preceded their father in death.
Services for TAYLOR will be a 2 p.m. Monday at the Rude Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. A. F. BRAMBLE, and burial will be in Oakwood.
The body will lie in state at the funeral home, where friends may call.

Relatives of Arch Rosco TAYLOR, well-known Labette county farmer who died Friday at his Circle Park home, were here today for his funeral at 2 p.m. at the Rude Funeral home.
They included his children Ray of Parsons, Hugh of Huntington Park, Cal., Mrs. Mary COOPER of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Eliza BATEMAN of Keenewich, Warsh., Mrs. Belva DICKERSON of Parsons, Mrs. Viola SMITH of Kansas City and Mrs. Ruthie DOMER of Rockville, Mo.
It was incorrectly reported here Saturday that Mrs. Ruthie DOMER had died of a heart attack after learning of her father's critical illness. It was her sister, Mrs. George (Nora) DOMER of Rockville, who was fatally stricken. George DOMER took his own life after finding the body of his wife, leaving a note that indicated that he did not wish to live without her.
Funeral services for Mr. and Mrs. DOMER were yesterday in Appleton City, Mo.
