Victor Lee Paxson, 33, died yesterday at the veterans hospital, Wadsworth, Kan., after a prolonged illness. He was a veteran of World War II. A former resident of Allendale, Mo., he had lived In St. Joseph about six years.
Surviving are his wife and two sons; his parents Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Paxson, Allendale; two brothers, Vincent Paxson, Allendale, and Vernon Paxson, Maryville, Mo., and three sisters, Mrs. Verla Brown, Augusta, Kan., Mrs. Vane Olney, Redding, Iowa, and Mrs. Violet Alexander, Des Moines, Iowa.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at the Isadora Church of Christ, west of Grant City, Mo. David Kirk will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
