She was born Nov. 8, 1996 in Parkersburg and is the adopted daughter of David Fitchett of Parkersburg and the late Shawneen June Fitchett. Her birth parents are Bob Morris and Sheryl Conrad Riffle.
Also surviving is her brother, Matthew David Fitchett at home and three sisters, Jordan (Brandon) Ward of Lexington, Ky., Shelene (Matt)Shrewsbury of Mineral Wells and Mackenzie Fitchett of Charleston; grandparents, Mary June Shelene of Vienna, Russell A. Fitchett of Wateview, Va., and Nancy Dyer Fitchett of Baltimore, Md.
She was preceded in death by a grandfather, Forrest "Bud" Shelene.
Maddison was a sophomore at Parkersburg South High School, was a cheerleader for Mini Pats Football, was on the South Junior Varsity Volleyball Team and had played basketball for the Wood County Recreation Commission and was affiliated with the Mineral Wells Church of Christ.
There will be a memorial service held 11 a.m. Thursday at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth Street, Parkersburg. Evangelist Larry Wigal will officiate.
The family will receive visitors beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday.
