Daniel W Cantrell 78 of Gastonia, died April 28, 1989 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Sevier County, TN and retired from Ii-Caro. He was a school crossing guard at Lingerfeldt Elementary School, a Navy veteran of WWII, National Guard member and member of Laray Baptist Church, where he was on the general board of the Gaston Baptisit Asso. Survivors include his wife, Thelma.
The funeral will be conducted by the Rev Raymond White and Love Dixon at 11am on Monday at Laray Baptist Church. Burial wil be in Gaston Memorial Park.
