Chowchilla -- Funeral services will be held in the Worden Chapel Saturday at 10 a.m. for Alanson G. Boomer, 77, who died in a convalescent hospital here Wednesday.
Mr. Boomer was born in Beaver Dam, Wis., and following his graduation from the University of Wisconsin operated a florist shop until he came here in 1920.
He operated a ranch at 8503 Highway 152 and also did carpentering. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star and Farm Bureau.
Survivors include four sons, Lee and Dana of Chowchilla, Francis of LeCanada and Alan of Turlock; a brother, Paul of Hemet; 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
