Tom passed away peacefully on December 14, 2008, surrounded by family & the loving caring staff of Feather River Hospital in Paradise. He now joins our Lord and Heavenly Father in his next journey of life.

Born April 15, 1929 to his late parents, Ray and Ardelle McClellan. Tom was born in Los Banos, CA, raised in Riverside, CA, moved to Santa Cruz, CA in 1965 and then moved to Paradise in 1985.

His education included high school, two years of college and several degrees of law enforcement seminars.

Tom's jobs included: School Bus Driver, Riverside, CA, Logging Truck Driver, Northern CA, Peace Officer UCR Riverside, CA, Mounted Peace Officer with "Sam" his beloved horse, UCSC Santa Cruz, CA, Church Bus Driver for seniors and high school kids, Santa Cruz, CA, School Bus Driver, Paradise, CA, Sheriff's Reserve, Paradise, CA.

He will be remembered by all. He was known for his laugh, kind heart, love for life, for his family, friends and our Lord Jesus Christ. His story telling alone could captivate any audience of any age in his many journeys in life!

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 60 plus years, high school sweetheart and best friend Norma McClellan; brother, James McClellan of Apple Valley, CA; sister, Rae Davies of El Centro, CA; son and daughter-in-law, Joel and Becki McClellan of Santa Cruz, CA; son, Michael McClellan of Campbell, CA; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Jackie McClellan of Santa Cruz, CA; son, Kenneth McClellan of Santa Cruz, CA; grandchildren, Ed and Lanessa McClellan of Hawaii; Leah, Scarlett, Parker & Makenzie McClellan, all of Santa Cruz, CA, Nicole Riccomini of Big Lake, MN; and great-grandchildren, Lydia & Emillia Riccomini of Big Lake, MN.

Tom is also survived by Jackie Long of Paradise, CA and beloved cousins, Mike and Linda Long of Santa Cruz, CA. He also has numerous other relatives and friends. Some still with us. Some are now angels with Him. Always in loving support of him.

Please join us in a Celebration of Life and Memorial at the Evangelical Free Church of Paradise, 5095 Pentz Rd. on Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 11 a.m.
