Elizabeth Ann Reid Wills died on Sunday March 16, 1975 at the Natrona County Memorial Hospital, following an illness of some months. Mrs. Wills, a well-known figure to the many Douglas children who passed through her classroom during the past twenty years, was a life-long resident of Douglas. She was born here on May 17, 1920, the daughter of Laura Reid and the late Charles Reid. Mrs. Wills attended Douglas schools and graduated from Douglas High School. She attended college in Greeley, Colorado for two years, and graduated from the University of Wyoming with a BA degree with an education major. She had been employed by the school district for nearly twenty years. Elizabeth Reed married George Wills on July 20, 1941 at her family home in Esterbrook. They became residents of the Wagonhound Creek area, where they have lived since. She is survived by her mother, Laura Reid; her husband, George Wills; daughters Mrs. Sharon McCaffrey of Los Angeles; Dixie Wills of Riverton, Vivian Paris of Douglas and Ann Wills of Casper; one son, Jerry Wills of Douglas; and three grandchildren. (Information was obtained from her obituary in the Douglas Budget, March 20, 1975 by Betty Alberts, FAG Member #47293729.)

Note: Obit states she was born on the 17th; cemetery records show the 27th (which could be in error). We will find out when I take a photo of the headstone.
