Son of William Marsh Johnson & Pearl Blanche Biggs Johnson, he married Patty Wright July 15, 1955 at Farris, Texas. Wallace served in the U.S. Army. He was a businessman for years operating the family business as Texaco consignee. In later years, he was elected Mills county Judge. He was affiliated with the First United Methodist Church where he was organist, with the Masonic lodge, Treasurer of the Historical Commission, also with courthouse restoration, Methodist Men & Methodist Men's quartet. Among survivors are his wife, Patty & daughters Cindy & husband Clinton Wesson, & Jennifer & husband Darryl Schriver & four grandsons, & sister, Joyce Duffy. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Rachel Wilkins & Myra Nell Kidd & brothers R.E.(Bobby) Johnson & Mike Johnson.
