Vice-President of Laurel Machine & Foundry Company, Laurel. Mississippi.

Mr. Mulloy was on a business trip after attending the Neshoba County Fair. He was pulling a boat and pulled off the side of the road to check a tire. A man, Michael Mason, hit him with a car and he was killed instantly on August 8, 1984 at the age of 37. His tragic death left behind three kids and his wife of 17 years. This ended a lifetime of work at Laurel Machine and that of a wonderful father and husband.

Jim was buried in Lake Park in Laurel, MS in the Ridgway Plot from 1984-2005 and moved to Salem Heights Baptist Church at the request of his wife and kids. This was done nearly two years after his mother died to prevent any conflicts and allow his wife, Jean, to be buried beside him, as well, as his two sons.
