From a newspaper:

Millie passed from our lives on 11/23/17. If you were fortunate enough to have met Millie during her 92 years with us, you loved her. From her work in the community, to a simple passing smile, she really was more than a friend to all. There is a food pantry in Lake Helen that now supplies hundreds of less fortunate families with much needed food due to the efforts of Millie, and her unending efforts to help others. She was surrounded by a loving family, who will forever miss her presence on earth. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clair; son Dennis; grandchild Kelly and great-grandchild Cameron. Millie is survived by her sons; daughters-in-laws; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Monday, 11/27/17 at 5pm at Allen-Summerhill Memorial Chapel in DeLand, with a visitation from 3-5pm prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Lake Helen Food Pantry at the United Methodist Church 121 W Delaware Ave, Lake Helen, FL 32744 would be greatly appreciated.
