Born April 12, 1913 in Salt Lake City, a son of Alva Carl and Mable Burns Adams. Married Grace Alberta Robbins on April 17, 1937, in Salt Lake City; their marriage was solemnized later in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Member of the LDS Church. Active in Boy Scout programs, where he served as a commissioner. He introduced Cub Scouting into LDS wards. He received Silver Beaver Award.
Survived by wife, West Valley City; three sons and two daughters, Alvin and wife Joyce, Billings, Mont.; Donnal and wife Linda, of Roy; Kim and wife Debra of Clearfield; Mrs. Chris (Carolynn) Miller of Orem; Mrs. Kenneth (Judy) Larsen Miller of Denver, Colo.; 24 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and brother, Fred James Adams, Bountiful.
Funeral services will be Thursday, 1:00 p.m., at the Granger 10th Ward, 3274 Hillsdale Drive, where friends may call Thursday, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Interment will be at Redwood Memorial Estates, under direction of the McDougal Golden Rule Funeral Home.
