James Marshall Flowers Sr., 39, of Maidsville, W.Va. died early Sunday morning, September 6, of injuries sustained in an ATV accident late Saturday evening, on the Arden Grade.

He was born May 27, 1970, at Clarksburg, a son of the late James Melvin and Ethel Kathleen (Jones) Flowers.

Survivors include a daughter, Clarissa Marie Flowers, Salem; a son, James Marshall Flowers Jr., Maidsville; three sisters, Connie Jo Adams, Morgantown, Thelma Kay Edgell, Folsom, Dewan Lee Dunbar; Flatwoods; his companion, Kavra Lantz, Maidsville, her children, Angela, Jody and Jonathan Lantz, all of Morgantown and her grandchildren, Austin, Dallas and Houston Smith, Morgantown.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, James Melvin Flowers Jr. Mr. Flowers was a painter in residential and commercial painting. He enjoyed racing T-Max gas powered model trucks and riding 4-wheelers. He was a Baptist by faith.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., on Thursday, September 10, from the Stemple & Forman Funeral Home, 385 So. Main Street, Philippi. The Rev. James Arnold will officiate and interment will follow in the Clemtown Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Wednesday and from 9:00 until 11:00 A.M., the funeral hour, on Thursday.
