Funeral arrangements were being made today for Mrs. Hilma B. Ayers, 63, of 390 West First North street, who died Sunday morning at a local hospital after an operation.
Mrs. Ayres was born in Payson in 1879, the daughter of Soren and Nellie Rask Pearson.
She received her education in the Payson schools, and was married to Heber M. Ayres in Salt Lake City June 27, 1907. She had lived in Provo since 1915, before coming to Provo resided in Bingham, Utah and Los Angeles, California.
A life-long member of the L. D. S. church, she was a member of the Provo Third ward at the time of her death.
Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Bessie June Ayres Johnson of Marysville, Cal., and Mrs. Florence Marie Ayres Stevens of Provo, and one sister, Mrs. Mary Pearson Chapman of Garfield, Utah.
Services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p. m. at the Hatch-Quist funeral home with Bishop Arthur D. Taylor of the Third ward in charge. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday evening and Wednesday prior to services. Burial will be in the Provo city cemetery.
