Elmer Roy Dunmyer, 61, Rockwood RD 1, died May 1, 1981, at Somerset Community Hospital. He was born April 23, 1920, in Milford Township. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oran C. and Lottie M. (Pletcher) Dunmyer. Also preceded by daughter, Karen. He is survived by a widow, the former Alda Schilling; and two sons; Ronald R., Union City RD 4; and Barry Rockwood RD 1; three grandchildren. He was a brother of: Homer G., Stoystown RD 1; Ernest N., Somerset RD 1; and Mrs. Harry (Audrey) Walk, Nanty Glo. He was a member of the American Legion, Rockwood Post, veteran of World War II, and a foreman of Agway Fertilizer Plant, Somerset. Friends were received at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where services were conducted with the Rev. Donald Judy officiating. Interment, St. John's Cemetery.
