Mrs. Mary Ann Blubaugh
Mrs. Mary Ann Blubaugh, 82, of Bloomfield Route 3 died at 3:45 a.m. today at her home. She had been in failing health for several years.
She was born in Melrose June 22, 1882, the daughter of John [sic] and Margaret Morrison. She had lived in Wapello County for 45 years.
Mrs. Blubaugh was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and of the Altar and Rosary Society.
Her marriage to James H. Blubaugh took place Feb. 19, 1919 in Ottumwa.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Vandello of Ottumwa and Mrs. Margaret Snook of Bloomfield, Route 3; one son, James Blubaugh of Minneapolis; one brother, William Morrison of Ottumwa and three sisters, Mrs. Edward McDonald, Mrs. O. B. Olson and Mrs. Al Bergquist, all of Ottumwa. There are also several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her first husband, James Ramsey, her second husband, James Henry Blubaugh, one daughter, three brothers and three sisters.
The body is at the Traul Funeral Home.
