Zelda was the youngest daughter of Joseph N. & Mary Ellen (Dresel) Wyland. She married Maximilian Kersthold in Philadelphia. They had son Robert in 1934 and moved to California after 1940. She later married Clarence Ahlbin. She was a nurse.
