James D. Linton Sr., 76, a native of Foley and resident of Robertsdale, died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011.
Mr. Linton loved his faith, family and friends. He is survived by two sons, James (Tammy) Linton Jr. and Jimmy (Leann) Clemmons, both of Summerdale; one daughter, Sue Bugg of Loxley; one sister, Diane Thiem of Foley; and six grandchildren.
A graveside memorial service will be held Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, at 10 a.m., at Wynn Cemetery in Summerdale, with the Rev. John Beck officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans of Alabama Chapter 45, 18370 Sidney Ave., Robertsdale, AL 36567.
