Hazel, called Sissie by her family, was born the second of 10 children, to Martin E Duke and Stella V (Tate)Duke. On Oct 22 1942 she married Charles W (Pete) Billington. Children of Pete and Hazel were Sammye Ruth, Carol Diane, Duane and Bonnie Catherine. She had 5 brothers and 4 sisters. Sisters:Lydia Belle Duke, Velma Ruth Stacy, Joyce Joanne Cowan and Saundra Lee Presley, brothers: Rudy, Buddy, Frank, Don and Bob. She had numerous grand and great grandchildren who loved her dearly and will miss her. She was one of the most loving and kind persons and sister anyone could be blessed to know. She had many friends and was a faithful and devoted Christian and church member. Her presence and love will be missed by many, including family and friends.Hazel M. Billington (nee Duke), age 86, of Festus, Missouri, passed away on October 31, 2011, in Crystal City, Missouri. She was born August 20, 1925, in Charleston, Missouri. She was the co-owner of Billington Jewelry and a member of First Baptist Church of Festus, Missouri.
