Mr. Arnold E. Wilde, age 72, formerly of 7638 Dutch Rd., Manitowoc, a resident of the Manitowoc Health Care Center, died Thursday morning, April 21, 1994, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Newtonburg. Rev. Timothy Ehlers will officiate with burial in the church cemetery.
Mr. Wilde was born July 20, 1921, in the town of Manitowoc Rapids, son of the late Louis and Ida Maas Wilde. He attended St. John Ev. Lutheran School, Newtonburg. Arnold lived with his sister and brother-in-law, Adeline and Elmer Raether and helped on the family farm. He was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Newtonburg.
Survivors include one brother-in-law, Elmer H. Raether, Manitowoc; one sister-in-law, Kathryn Wilde, Green Bay; two nephews, Gerald E. Raether, Donald E. Raether and his wife, Patricia Kuehn; one niece and her husband, Jeanette A. And John G. Mahloch; two grand nephews, Daryl and Dale Mahloch, all of Manitowoc. Other nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by one sister, Adeline C. Raether, one brother, Elmer Wilde.
Friends may call at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, on Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
