John Patrick Kelly, patriarch of the Kelly Compound, Wallkill, NY, died November 01, 2011, in Middletown. He was 90.
Known as "Uncle Jack" to all that knew him, he was a loving husband to Evelyn Heaslip Kelly for 69 years. The son of late John Patrick and Mary Kate Gilligan Kelly, he was born in New York City.
He was a veteran of the 110 US Army Airforce Glider Division where he served as a mechanic on C47's.
Jack was a retired worker for DFY, Highland as a water treatment operator. He and his wife had a successful business prior to retiring from the DFY; their three Card Carousel Shops were located in Delaware and Pennsylvania

Although he and his wife had no children he was a loving father figure to his 17 nieces and nephews, 37 great nieces and nephews and 6 great-great nieces and nephews. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan his entire life.

brother James Kelly of Indiana
sisters Elizabeth Meechan and Ellen Morrissey of Cornwall, NY
