Gavin Luiz Lopez, age 7 of Little Elm, Texas passed away on October 30, 2011 in Little Elm. He was born on April 14, 2004 in Dallas, Texas to Fernando Luiz and Kristen Denise (Johnson) Lopez.
Gavin was a huge fan of Spongebob and the movie Finding Nemo. He enjoyed the company of his family and had a contagious laugh. Gavin's smile illuminated the room. Gavin was a very courageous and brave child who only shimmered in the face of adversity.
Gavin is survived by his parents, Fernando and Kristen Lopez of Little Elm; brother, Ethan Luiz Lopez; sister, Falyn Faye Lopez; grandparents, Louanna Castillo and husband, Mariano of Flower Mound, Texas, Terry Johnson and wife, Julie of Brandon, South Dakota, Angela Soulis of Santa Barbara, California; many aunts, uncles and cousins and many, many friends.
