Edna Kathryn Hunnicutt Goodson, 90,entered into rest March 7, 2011 in Ridgeland, MS. Funeral services will be held Friday March 11, 2011 at 3:00pm at Christ United Methodist Church 6000 Old Canton Road, Jackson, MS. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00pm till 3:00 at the Church. burial will be in Jessamine Cemetery in Ridgeland, MS. Wright & Ferguson Funeral home Highland Colony is in charge of arrangements. Edna Kathryn Hunnicutt Goodson lived a life of achievement. Born to loving parents Ben and Callie Hunnicutt in 1920 she attended Central High School and Belhaven College in Jackson, Mississippi graduating with honors including "Who's Who" in 1942. During WW II she served her country in the FBI in Washington, DC as one of the first five women to work for the bureau in a non-clerical position.

Returning home she met and married the love of her life, Robert Edward Goodson spending 57 years together; raising twin sons, Marc and Michael Goodson. She served as director of Christian education at Galloway Methodist Church in Jackson. She was a devoted wife, mother and teacher who gave the gift of Christian service to her family. She entered into rest on March 7, 2011 after 90 years of dedication and giving.
