Jno. W. Abernathy Claimed by Death

John W. Abernathy, for years a well known citizen of Latrobe, succumbed to a lingering illness at the home of his daughter, in Wilkinsburg, yesterday morning.

He had been in failing health for some time.

Prior to removing to Wilkinsburg, some years ago, Mr. Abernathy resided in the eastern part of the town.

He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. J.C. Witt, of Wilkinsburg; also by two grandchildren.

The funeral services will be held at three o'clock, tomorrow afternoon, at the home of the late Mr. Abernathy's sister-in-law, Mrs. Mary Gibson, of Brinker Ave. The Rev. Sanner, pastor of the Ross Ave. Methodist Episcopal Church, of Wilkinsburg, will conduct the services, assisted by the Rev. Richard B. Cuthbert, of Latrobe. The interment will follow in Unity cemetery.
