JEFFERSON, Tex. - Mrs. Maude Foster, 86, died Sunday. She had been manager of the Southwestern Bell Telephone in Jefferson over 25 years before her retirement in 1954.
She is survived by one son, Lloyd Vance foster of New York City; two grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Ray Beth Foster of Dallas Tex; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Will Homer of Jefferson; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday in the First United Methodist Church with burial in the Lanier Cemetery with the Rev. Bart Lewis officiating. Haggard Funeral Home.
