Lena married Theodore Holcombe abt. 1905, had 5 children and divorced Ted in 1937. Her parents were Charles David Ewell (1866–1947) & Mary Ellen Howard (1868–1933). Lena lived with her mother when her father married Nancy Elizabeth James in 1890. Lena' mother Mary Ellen Howard was the 1st child & 1st daughter of James Polk Howard (1847–1908) & Eveline 'Eva' Akin (1846–1884), James' 1st wife. Lena's mother married Robert L. Walters in 1888.
