Archie Paul Mudge, the only son of Nathan and Laura Elsie Kechley Mudge died at the home of his parents, after an illness of about three years.At the age of 21 he located with his parents near Kimball, Nebraska and engaged in farming. On March 11, 1921 he married Viola Van Devender, in Sterling, Logan County, Colorado. To this union one son, Nathan, was born.
Services were held December 20, 1925 from the family home in Beatrice and at the Centenary Methodist Church conducted by Rev. C. B. Hankins. The pallbearers, all Cousins of the deceased were Earl Mudge, Tom Damrow, Harold Kechley, Ray Mudge, Chester Stoll and Arthur Morris. Archie Mudge is survived by his wife and his son, Nathan.
