My great-grandfather had more than his share of adventure in his life. He ran away from home at about the age of 10 because he thought he'd killed someone (he hadn't) and found work on a South Dakota ranch. Then he went and lived with the 'wild injan's' for a while (Sioux), then returned to 'civiization' after a few years, and on and on. Second marriage to Mary Ellen 'Ellie' Johnson-Scott(1876-1953). Two children from that marriage: Emmett(1915-1991) and Earl(1918-1999)
