Daughter of John and Julia Ragan. In March, 1882 she was united in marriage to Lawrence J. Houseman and they established their home in Ogden where she spent most of her life. To this union ten children were born, six surviving. They are Eva Haley, Lillian Meldrum, Josephine Schmidt, Bert, Lawrence, and Clem Houseman.
