William L. "Buck" McGinnis, 40, of Eldon died Friday, Jan 12, 1990 at Lake of the Ozarks General Hospital in Osage Beach.
He was born Sept. 14, 1949, in Cole Camp to William Frederick and Hyla Need McGinnis. On June 24, 1973, he was married in Osage Beach to Bonnie Sue Johnson, who survived.
Mr. McGinnis was a volunteer fireman and captain for the Lake Ozark Fire Protection District for several years. He was a resident of the Eldon are for the past 35 years. He was employed the past eight years with the Horseshoe Bend Special Road District.
Surviving him, in addition to his wife, are three sons, Michael Edward McGinnis and Christopher Michael McGinnis, both of Eldon, and Jacky McGinnis of Buffalo; a sister, Judith Allen of Eldon;
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Philips Funeral Home with the Rev. Dale Langley officiating. Burial was in the Dooley Cemetery near Eldon.
