NILES - Destany Rose "Rosie" Frick, 11, passed away Thursday of natural causes. She was born in Niles to Terry & Hollee Frick. Destany was a student at Oak Manor in Niles, MI. She played the flute, bowled every Saturday on a league, liked to bake and eat cookies, and help Mom, Dad and big sister Hailee around the house. She was loved by her family and friends and will be missed by everyone. In addition to her parents, Destany is survived by her maternal grandparents, Brenda & David Young of Dowagiac, MI; paternal grandparents, David & Rexene Frick of Niles, MI; brothers, Terris and Kallen Frick, and sister, Hailee Frick, all at home in Niles; aunts & uncles, Erin (Mike) Allen, Angie (Rick) Anderson, Bethann Frick, David (Stacey) Frick; cousins, Kalyn, Bailey, Dylan, Dave, Kurt, Lilly & Virginia. Friends may call from 3-8 pm Tuesday, Nov. 8, at Hoven Funeral Home in Buchanan, MI. Services will be Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 1 p.m., also at the funeral home, officiated by Chaplain Dan George of Sumnerville Baptist Church, Niles, MI. Destany will be buried at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens, Niles, MI.
