Dorothy Emma Eick age, 90 of W1941 Orchard Road, Cleveland, passed away Friday, November 4, 2011, quietly with her family at her side at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, Sheboygan Falls.

Dorothy was born on April 14, 1921, in Howards Grove, daughter of the late Raymond and Emma (Kuester) Bitter. She attended Millersville School. Dorothy married Edgar Eick on January 24, 1948 at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Howards Grove. He preceded her in death on December 13, 1994. Dorothy was a member of St. John-St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cleveland for most of her life. Prior to that, she belonged to St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Howards where she sang in the choir and played the organ.

Dorothy was a welder at Polarware during WW11. After the war, she worked at Montgomery Wards in Sheboygan. Once she was married, Dorothy worked the family farm with her husband Edgar and raised their three sons. What we will remember most is her faith in God and the kind words and gentle touch for anyone who needed them. Dorothy touched the hearts of all who knew her. She passed with the knowledge of a blessed reunion in Heaven with all who preceded her.

Survivors include her sons: Karl and John Eick, Cleveland; James (Mary) Eick, village of Franklin; three grandsons: Lee (Christy) Eick, Cleveland; Joe (Amanda) Eick, St. Anna, Brian (Ashley) Eick, Kellnersville. Dorothy was also blessed with two great grandchildren: Axl Chase Eick and Isabella Ann Eick. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
