Miss Kathryn "Katie" Jeannette LeFevre, 83, of Burlington, Iowa, died at 10:40 a.m. on Sunday, May 13, 2001 at Great River Medical Center, West Burlington Iowa. She was born in Abingdon on August 6, 1917, the daughter of Harry F. and "Margaret" Evans LeFevre. She worked in Press Production at Burlington Hawk Eye for seven years. She also worked at ISU. She was a member of the First Congregational Church and E.S.A. International. She graduated from Abingdon, Illinois High School. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, five sisters and one nephew. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 17 at 10 a.m. at the First
Congregational Church with Rev. Cindy Bacon officiating. Visitation will be after 8 a.m. on Wednesday, May 16 at the Lunning Chapel, Burlington, Iowa. Burial will be in the
Abingdon Cemetery at 1 p.m. Thursday. Memorials may be made to the First Congregational Church.
