Mrs. Sally A. Brown died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Simon Banks, Wednesday, at the age of 78 years.
Mrs. Brown was the widow of Noah Brown who was killed by lightning about 8 years ago at the family home at Pound Ridge. Since his death Mrs. Brown had lived among her children, spending the winter with Mrs. Banks. A few days since Mrs. Brown was seized with bronchial pneumonia which with her advanced years she was not able to throw off. She leaves two sons and four daughters. The funeral will take place at the Long Ridge M.E. church in the town of Danbury, Friday, tomorrow afternoon.
