She was born in Stella, Mo., to David Otis and Lois Blanche Gilchrist Easter. She was a former employee of Butterball Turkey Co. in Huntsville. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Olen Cecil Laird, on Feb. 9, 1977, and one son, Jimmy Lee Laird, on March 19, 1977. She was 68 when she passed away at St. John's Regional Health Center in Springfield, MO. I have a copy of her obit from Morning News.
