James Edward Olinger, 21, of Altona, died unexpectedly Friday about 5 p.m. while working at the Ray Johnston farm two miles south of Altona. The Knox County Sheriff's office reported that Olinger had just started to milk the cows about 5 p.m. when he collapsed. Dr. Jackson Erffmeyer, Knox County coroner, said death was instant. An autopsy was conducted at Larson Funeral Home in Abingdon last night by Dr. Franz Lengh, coroner's pathologist. Dr. Erffmeyer said findings from the autopsy indicated death was probably due to a heart attack. He added that further tests to determine the exact cause of death will be made. He was born March 18, 1942, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Olinger of Abingdon. He attended schools in Abingdon, and was a member of the Abingdon Christian Church. He married to Terresa Darrah at Abingdon October 27, 1962. Survivors besides the widow and parents, include an infant son, Jimmy; two brothers, Robert E. of Abingdon and Richard of San Diego, Calif; a sister, Mrs. Phil (Shirley) Sparks of Abingdon. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Abingdon Christian Church. Friends may call at the Larson Funeral Home Sunday afternoon and evening. Burial will be in Abingdon Cemetery.

Miss LuAnn Lincoln was organist. Burial was is the Abingdon Cemetery. Pallbearers were Robert Cutts, Dean Gibson, Dave McMillan, Dick Ginther, Danny Boyer, and Tommy Tinkham.
