A WWII Veteran, Robert was a paratrooper with the 101st Airborne Division. He was a 1938 graduate of Wadesville H.S. He married Anna Marie Carlton of Evansville about 1940 (they had been married more than 69 years). Robert retired from Whirlpool as a Maintenance Supervisor after 36.5 years of dedicated service. He was survived by his wife and four daughters.
