Mrs. Minerva May ROGERS, 79, lifetime resident of Fulton county, died Saturday at 9:50 p.m. in the Harris nursing home at Argos after a three-year illness. She resided west of U.S. 31 on the Richland Center road. Death was due to a heart ailment and a paralytic stroke. Born Oct. 19, 1882, in Richland township, she was the daughter of James and Christina WORKING THOMPSON. She was married June 27, 1903, in Fulton county, to William H. ROGERS, who survives. Mrs. Rogers was a member of the Richland Center Methodist church. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dean (Crystle) PHILLIPS, R.R. 2, Argos, and Mrs. Calvin (Mildred) KUHN, R.R. 5, Rochester; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral rites will be at the Grossman funeral home in Argos at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Calvin McCUTCHEON officiating. Burial will be in the Richland Center I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
