He immigrated to the United States with his family after the 1889 birth of his brother Joseph, settling in Lewiston, Maine. Alexandre married Adele Charest, daughter of Ferdinand and Exilda Charest, on 28 Apr 1902 in Lewiston. He was widowed in 1951. Alexandre died at the age of 82 and was interred in Saint Peter's Cemetery in Lewiston on 7 Feb 1962.
