MRS. OPAL LISHER RITES THURSDAY
Heart Attack Fatal To Local Resident
Mrs. Opal May (Branson) Lisher, age 73 years, of 1425 East Main Street, this city, died at 11:25 a.m. Monday in Hancock Memorial Hospital, the result of a heart attack she had suffered a short time before entering the hospital.
Born in Moral Township, Shelby County, May 12, 1891, Mrs. Lisher was the daughter of Robert and Mary F. Mohr Branson. The widow of Worth A. Lisher, who preceded her in death February 26, 1964, she had resided in the Greenfield community since 1927.
She was a member of the Bradley Methodist Church, the W.S.C.S., the Altruistic Club, Hancock County Unit No. 119, American Legion Auxiliary, Center Township Farm Bureau, and the Center Township Home demonstration Club.
Surviving are three children, Leonard B. Lisher, of Indianapolis; Mrs. Leo (Mary Frances) Taylor of Route 3, Lebanon and Wilbur Earnest Lisher of Cincinnati; eight grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Audrey Eberhart; one brother, Orville R. Branson, both of Shelbyville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, from the Pasco Memorial Mortuary with Rev. A.C. Underwood and Rev. William Meddock officiating. Interment will take place in Park Cemetery.
