ILLNESS FATAL TO WORTH LISHER
Local Resident Dies Wednesday

Worth A. Lisher, age 71 years, of 1425 East Main, passed away at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday at Twinbrook East Nursing Home.
He was born in VanBuren Township Shelby County, the son of William and Effie (Stickney) Lisher, and had lived here 35 years. He was a member of the Hancock County Farm Bureau and attended Bradley Methodist Church. He was a retired farmer and thresherman. He owned the first steam threshing machine in Shelby County.
He is survived by the widow, Opal (Branson) Lisher; three children, Leonard B. Lisher, of Indianapolis, Mrs. Leo (Mary Frances) Taylor, Lebanon, RR 3, Wilber Ernest Lisher, Cincinnati, Ohio; eight grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ada Carney, of Florida; one brother, Paul of Iowa. He was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert and a sister, Mrs. Bessie Irene McInnis, of Shelbyville.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Pasco Memorial Mortuary with Rev. Melvin Seeger, of Tipton, and Rev. William Meddock of Bradley Methodist church, officiating. Interment in Park Cemetery
