The body of Thomas Ellison, formally of Decatur, who died Monday morning at his home in Dixon, arrived in Decatur Monday night and was taken to Moran & Sons, funeral directors. Mr Ellison would have been forty-nine years old in September. He had been an invalid for several years and for the last six months his condition was serious.
Mr Ellison was born in Decatur Sept. 27, 1880 and most of his life was spent here. He was a member of the Christian Church and had many friends. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Stella Cavanaugh of Decatur, and a brother, Edward Ellison of Detroit.
