Edgar F. Cranston died Tuesday night.
Edgar F. Cranston, brother of Mrs. William Lloyd and Mrs. Mary Gailey of Eads, died at the Lloyd home Tuesday evening, January 9, of serious heart trouble. He had been in poor health for sometime. Last Monday he was taken to Lamar for medical consultation and was scarcely able to reach home. He grew rapidly worse and died at 8 p.m. that evening.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Christian Church on Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jasper Bogue preaching the sermon.
The body will be taken to Ness City, Kansas, where services will be held the following day with internment in the Riverside Cemetery near Ness City. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd and Mr. And Mrs. Gailey and their familys will go to Ness City for the burial. The body will be sent by train Friday night, accompanied by Mr.Lloyd.
Mr. Cranston had lived in the Eads community nearly eight years and had many many friends.

Gravesite Details

Records from the Ness County Historical Society states buried in the same family plot as his parents. at this time no marker has been found and/or its possible he dose not have a marker because his death was during the hard times of the depression
