She was born the daughter of George and Mabel Nelson Stegall.
She married Glen Hoffman June 27,1947 in Piggott, Ark.
She is survived by her husband, Glen, of 64 yrs; (2) daughters Penny (and Charles) Burdette of Knoxville, and Patricia (and Jerry) Pierce of Springdale, Ark; a son, Glen R. "Rusty" (and Robin) Hoffman of Springdale Ark.
12 grandchilkdren; 18 g-grandchildren. She was in death by her parents, a son, Michael G. Hoffman on Aug.23, 2001; and several brothers and sisters. She was the last of her siblings. Shirley was an EEG tech at Galesburg Cottage Hospital, retiring after 25 yrs. She graduated from Galesburg High School in 1947 and lived her entire life in the Altona and Galesburg area.
Glen and Shirley wintered in Texas for many years camping.
Shirley enjoyed square dancing, crafting and reading.
