Funeral services are pending for
Mrs. Mary Isabella Ballard,a pioneer
resident of Okmulgee County.
Mrs. Ballard, who resided at 728 No.
Okmulgee, died Wednesday in a
Cleveland, Okla. hospital. She was
born Jan. 10, 1877, near Tisomingo I.T.
and had lived in Okmulgee county for
the past 71 years. She was a member
of the First Christian Church. Okmulgee
Chapter 241, Order of the White Shrine
of Jerusalem, and Order of Amaranth.
Survivors include a son John H. Cable Sr.
Muskogee, two daughters, Miss Cora Cable
Okmulgee, and Mrs. Pluma Taulbee, Okla. City
two grandson, Joe Cable, Muskogee, and John
Cable Jr., New York. a granddaughter,
Mrs Pauleen Oldham, Lubbock, Texas. two
sisters. Mrs Hettie Brian and Mrs. Emma
Jordan, both of Okmulgee, a brother, James
Ashley, Okmulgee, five grandchildren
and four great- grandchildren.
