STREATOR - Nick P. Brozak, 83, of 807 W. Stanton St., Streator, died at 10:15 am Tuesday (Nov. 2, 2000) at St. Mary's Hospital, Streator.
His funeral will be at noon Monday at Immaculate Conception Church, Streator. Father Deo Gratis Mutefunya will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial at Russian Orthodox Cemetery, Streator, with full military rites by American Legion Post 217 and VFW Post 1492. Visitation will be for one hour before the service Monday at the church. Elias Funeral Home, Streator, is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to American Red Cross; Immaculate Conception Church; or to a charity of the donor's choice.
Mr. Brozak was born Feb. 3, 1917, in Crystal Falls, Mich., the son of Nick P. and Anna Urich Brozak. He married Josephine Sedlock on Nov. 27, 1947. She survives.
Other survivors include three daughters...two sons...two sisters...two brothers...11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
One brother, John Brozak, and two sisters, Margaret Majercin and Mary McCluskey Lucas, preceded him in death.
