Betty Frances Miller, 78, of Channelview, Texas a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2011. She was born on May 25, 1933 in Athens, Alabama.
Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Dean Miller in 1998. She was a devoted Christian and Faithful member of Channelview Church of Christ for more than 50 years. She was active in the V.V. Ramsey Senior Citizens Center.
She is survived by her daughter: Cheri Frances Simmons and husband Steve; sons: Michael Dean Miller and wife Elizabeth and Mark Lynn Miller and wife Cindy; sisters: Vannice Ball, Rosemary Scott and husband Tom; brother: Jerry Ball and wife Brenda; grandchildren: Shaun Simmons and wife Marianna, Kade Simmons and wife Lindsey and Doug Simmons, Wesley Miller and Tyler and Kelly Miller; great grandchildren: Holt, Lexi, Tate, Cooper, Raini, Connor and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation with the family will be on Thursday, November 10, 2011, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Channelview Church of Christ, 1301 Sheldon Road.
Funeral services will be on Friday, November 11, 2011, at 1:00 P.M. at Channelview Church of Christ. with Michael Dean Miller of Oak Grove Church of Christ officiating.
Interment will follow in San Jacinto Memorial Park.
