Born October 6, 1915 and raised in Seattle. Resided in Snohomish, WA for 50 years before moving to Ephrata WA, proudly served his country in the Army during WWII and spent his 40 year career at The Seattle Times as a truck driver, before retiring in 1977, active member in the Grange, V.F.W. and American Legion.
Survived by his wife of 55 years, Margaret Atchison, nephew, Bill Hutton, sons; Brooks (Glenda) of Snohomish, Albert (Bert) (Aliene) of Camano Island. Daughters; Caroline (ex. John) of Snohomish, Belinda (Jerome) of Ephrata. Grandchildren; Shannon, Chelesa, Breanne, Merinda, Kathleen, Jason, David, Christopher and Michael. Gail-Marie, Tyler, Wade, Carley and Gregory. Great-grandchildren Sydeny, Hailey, Mackenzie, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members.
Graveside services at Abbey View Memorial Park, 3601 Alaska Rd, Brier, WA on Friday, January 9, 2003 at 2:00pm after the graveside services, there will be memorial services at Horseshoe Grange.
