She was born June 8, 1920, in Logansport, to Henry and Goldie Gaumer.
She was a member of Deep River Church of Christ. She was very honest, kind and was a very good friend. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her family loved her wonderful pies and chocolate chip cookies. In her later years, she was very grateful for her loving caregivers, Barabara Czekaj, Pam Olson and MaryAnn Ivankovich.
Ruth is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Muniz, Crown Point, and Debra (Keith) Weaver, Portage; and grandson, Brian Weaver.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Norman; her parents; brother, Paul; and sister, Helen L. Gaumer.
